Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

Fayetteville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Fayetteville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

If I could leave zero I would. Pursue this facility if you want to waste your time, patience, & whats remaining of your mental health. You can count on the providers to get you dependent on medication & then deprive you of them randomly at descretion. & When you're begging for help, be told "I'm sorry. I hope it gets better." As a healthcare professional, I'd never tell somebody that. It can be one hell of a motivator. I do hope, that it works out for them long term. Karma exists.

Be VERY careful about requesting refills on your medications. I have been calling for a week to get a refill on extremely important medications. They say it will take 72 hours for the provider to read the request but that is a LIE! They never read the request unless you call constantly and even then it will not be read. You can put in multiple requests but they will still go unanswered. Now I will be off my medication for 5 days and I’m literally praying that I don’t go into crisis although I’m noticing my mental health declining already. I should not have to be admitted to the psych ward just to get a refill, or sit there until a provider decides to finally read the request. This place does NOT care what happens to you, you are purely a number for their clinic.

I called this morning to ask a few questions. One being a certain insurance accepted the employee who picked up the phone stated she “thinks” they accept it. When I asked who would I speak to find out, she then offered another name the insurance could be through and stated they accept that particular insurance. However, I would’ve liked to be sure. In addition, when I asked about a service being offered at the facility before I could get my question out good she was asking stating “nope umm, umm not here.” That’s quite fine the service not being offered, however, what’s not okay is being cut short while asking a question. Even if the service was offered I’m very much okay with not being seen here. Do better!

Writing this review, as i am over cape fears disregard for there patients as I have been disregard too many times. I’m a patient with severe depression, constant anxiety and spirals every now and then. combinded with family issues often and then which causes me to miss appointments as the usually depression symptoms combinded with me going to work and being in college . While i was assigned with Dr.Marco, the past year, eventually I got assigned with Dr. Oni. She should not be a therapist , in honest opinion . i was kicked out of the program because of sessions she scheduled I never agreed to. She proceeded to call my mom and complain about me missing an appointment after i was already kicked out of the program mind you the last time me and her conversed I mentioned I was not living with my parents. so on top of everything i already had going on I was out on my own and struggling. I guess she still expected me to come to appointments, mind you in my history I have multiple occurrences of me disappearing from therapy so it’s not unheard of or out of the ordinary which is why i stopped scheduling ahead of time. Dr. Oni does not give good advice and does not listen to anything you sa

Do not go!! Cheryl Fisher should not be allowed to practice medicine! She is uncaring, rude, and a flat out liar just to cover herself so she gets a paycheck! They do not care about your mental health, they are not there for you when you need them! What a joke! I can’t tell you how many people said they cared and were on my side going to help when behind the scenes they were ignoring me trying to dismiss me from the clinic so they wouldn’t have to deal with the reality that they have crappy people working there and an even worse physician Cheryl Fisher! I have been a patient for years and never had an issue until I met Cheryl. She made me so much worse than I was, she made me cry at every appointment. Something needs to be done about that heinous woman! I filed a complaint and when she found out she straight up lied about me to get me dismissed from the clinic! I’m not the only person complaining about this woman. Cape fear needs to do something because Chery Fisher is the problem not the patients!

I started coming here a year ago for PMDD and depression. My first psychiatrist, Dr. Brotzman, was excellent and always made me feel heard and supported. When I was switched to Dr. Oni, my care changed drastically. From the first appointment, she seemed aloof and uninterested in what I had to say. After being diagnosed with combined-type ADHD in late August, I was first given a medication that did not help. I tried to explain that I had the same type of ADHD my mom has, and that her medication helps her. I was later switched to the same medication my mom takes, which unsurprisingly worked. I was told I could start on a lower dose for a few days and increase it if needed, but I was not given enough medication to last a full month. I discovered this only when I was about to run out. When I called the clinic for help, I had to speak with multiple people, got hung up on by the weekend call service, and was not told until Monday that Dr. Oni had been out on Friday. Her nurse tried extremely hard to help, but the prescription was first sent to the wrong pharmacy, and then I could not pick it up because the base pharmacy was closed for Veterans Day. During all of this, I had to re-expla

This place needs to be shut down. The doctors, therapists, and nurses are an absolute joke. Cheryl Fisher treated my mother horribly. She accused my mother of only wanting to "Get high" and "doctor shopping" when she asked for her gabepentin for her legs which she's been on for over 5 years. I set all appointments for my mother so I know that's not true, not to mention she had no clue what that meant. When I told her she cried and felt extremely embarrassed. My mom has sever anxiety and again has been on the same medication for OVER 5 YEARS. Cheryl needs to pick a different profession because nursing isn't it. She was cruel and very unprofessional. We will be finding a different provider, my mother will surely die under their "caring" eye.

I have been a patient of Community’s on and off for the past 5 years. My issue is the toll all the different antidepressants took on my body. I have had bad body dysmorphia since I was in middle school. I worked out lost the weight and when life started to become overwhelming, I decided to give med management a try. I am worse off now than before. I informed the staff that weight gain was my biggest concern and was given medications where weight gain was the biggest side effect. I am up 27 pounds from where I was in November and was constantly met with a “that’s unfortunately a side effect” when the biggest harbor to my self image was my weight. Now I am left with it and I feel fairly defeated as the recommendations that should have helped me have left me in worse off mental state
